The 1950 Ford's were referred to, in advertisments, as "50 ways new, 50 ways better". The cars were quieter and handled better on rough road driving. The flathead V8 went out of production in 1954 and was replaced by a new 130 bhp overhead valve V8. The first retractable hardtop, the Ford Skyliner, was produced between 1957-1959 and is now a coveted collectable among classic car owners. The DVD will feature 38 examples of original stock, restored, coupes, wagons and convertibles from 1950-1959. The 1950's Fords represented on this DVD include 1950, 1951, 1953, 1954, 1955, 1956 Victoria and Crown Victoria; 1953 Mainline; 1954, 1956 Customline; 1956, 1957, 1958 Fairlane; 1955 Club Sedan; and more. This DVD includes multiple angle shots of engines, interiors and exteriors set in scenic background locations. Music and titles have been added to set the mood for this classic DVD, recalling a time when life was much simpler.
