The 1960 Thunderbird was the last year for the "Squarebird" style. The third generation (1961-1963) Ford Thunderbird saw a new body style on the same 113 wheelbase. The "Bullet" style Thunderbird had one base engine, the 390 V8, which offered 300-340 bhp. The fourth generation (1964-1966) Thunderbird arrived with an all new sheetmetal design. The 390 cid V8 was the only engine available for the 1964-1965 models and offered 300 bhp. The 1967 model year offered a big block 428 cid option rated 345 bhp. The DVD will feature several examples of original stock, restored, coupes and convertibles. The Ford Thunderbird 1960's Volume 1 will feature at least one Thunderbird automobile per year from 1960-1969.
